Rainy Days and Mondays

Cool and rainy day today in da Delta.

Quick visit to the farm this afternoon.

The neighbor's pond was definitely fuller from the overnight storms.

Our poor little pond south of the trailer is now full of new rain water!

Even the algae pond on the north side was filled up!

And the dry creekbed now had water in it (but no fish).

The levee road was now muddy instead of  dusty.

Dad was anxious to see how much rain we got (the TV news said we got 5.19" of rain overnight) and if the rains re-hydrated his dried up ponds (and saving the remaining fishes). From the photos above, it looked liked we got a lot of rain. Dad felt somewhat satisfied with the amount of rain.
