| Fishing after Christmas was pretty slow, too much fresh rain. |

| Lots of fishes eaten around the ponds (raccoons?) |

| Shot some possums around the pond around the 27th. |

| Shot another possum on the 29th |

| Tried fishing on Saturday (29th) too ... nada! |

| Sunday, saw a small deer by the pond, thought about shooting it (it was legal) but decided I didn't want to spend the rest of the day cleaning deer guts (yuck). Plus I had a small caliber rifle too so the deer would have suffered more had I shot. |

| Today, New Year Eve, shot my first squirrel of the season; it was nice and fat! |
