Well, the other shoe has finally dropped with the news that one of the largest local industry in Greenwood has laid off approximately 200 of it's 1,000 employees (75% of them based in G'wood) according to the Commonwealth Newspaper. So sad for the local economy and for all the investments being made into Greenwood itself. It was also announced that founder Fred Carl Jr. had also stepped down as CEO today as well.

Busy last day in da Delta

Getting cabin fever after three straight days of rain!

a nice sunny break in the rain today - time to shop!

The farm ponds were all nice and full of rain water!

Smiling despite the attacking mosquitoes in the 70 plus degree balmy weather!

Spending my last full day home, cleaning up, washing clothes, packing, etc ...

Worked on my swing for about 30 minutes.

Took a hike thru the woods with my Ruger 10/22.

Hello Mister Armadillo!

Went out to the farm with Dad this afternoon and got in a nice mix of activities: golf practice, hiking and hunting. I guess it's one of the advantages to owning your own farmland, huh?!
